Los Angeles Department of Water

Consumer Rebate Program

This program is designed to both educate and encourage LADWP residential customers to purchase and install qualifying products in their home. Rebates included are High Efficiency Toilets with a 1.28 GPR to $100. Rain Barrel rebate is $75 per barrel. Soil Moisture Sensor Systems is $80 or $35 per irrigation station for large residential sites.

LADWP/MWD Residential Water Conservation Rebate Program

LADWP, in conjunction with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD), offer the SoCal WaterSmart Rebate Program, a residential water conservation program for customers to promote the use of water conservation products.

San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District

Water Efficient Washing Machine Rebate

Residents who pay their water bill to the City of Alhambra, City of Sierra Madre, City of Monterey Park and Azusa Light and Water are eligible to participate and receive a $150 rebate for an approved water-efficient washing machine.

High Efficiency Toilet Program (HET)

The San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District supports the HET in each of its member cities. Member cities make water efficient toilets available for free to each of its residents ($200 retail value)

Metropolitan Water District of Southern California

Incentives for On-Site Recycled Water Conversion

Metropolitan’s On-Site Retrofit Pilot Program provides financial incentives directly to public or private property owners to convert potable water irrigation or industrial water systems to recycled water services. Application period begins July 1, 2014.

Community Partnering Program (CPP)

The primary focus of the CPP is the sponsorship of water conservation and water-use efficiency programs. A maximum of $2,000 will be awarded to community-based organizations that promote discussion and educational activities for regional water conservation.
