Ascot Hills Park Framework Plan

The Ascot Hills Park Framework Plan was developed by the Ascot Hills Park Advisory Board to guide the restoration, programming, and long-term sustainability of this 93-acre urban wilderness.

The plan ensures that conservation efforts happen in carefully planned phases, balancing habitat restoration, recreational access, and community engagement to enhance education, recreation, and environmental stewardship.



Goals of the Framework Plan:

✔ Preserve & Restore Natural Habitats – Protect and enhance walnut woodlands, coastal sage scrub, and grasslands.

✔ Create a Safe & Accessible Park – Ensure a welcoming space for all visitors.

✔ Support Education & Recreation – Provide learning opportunities while protecting wildlife.

✔ Expand Community Involvement – Encourage stewardship through volunteerism and partnerships.

✔ Establish Long-Term Land Management – Maintain sustainable strategies for conservation and park use.
