Join us for a hands-on Milkweed Seed Sowing & Up-Potting Party at Ascot Hills Park on Saturday, July 26 from 9–11 AM!
This free, community event is all about supporting native plants and pollinators—especially monarch butterflies. Volunteers will help sow native milkweed seeds and up-pot young seedlings that will eventually be planted throughout the park and surrounding green spaces.
No experience necessary—we’ll guide you through every step!
All tools and materials provided
Wear comfortable clothes, bring sun protection and a refillable water bottle
Event is outdoors on uneven ground—sturdy shoes recommended
Learn about the importance of native milkweed and how you can support monarchs at home
