There are many ways to get involved at Ascot Hills.

  • North East Trees

    North East Trees offers two volunteer opportunities a month at the Ascot Hills Park Nursery:

    Nursery Monthly Action Day

    Learn plant propagation, transplanting, native plant care, plants in general and make crafts.

    Every first Saturday of the month at the park nursery from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    Seedy Sundays

    Learn about California native plants, get free wildflower seeds, and plant cuttings. In partnership with local native plant specialist Artemisia Nursery!

    Usually held the first Sunday of the month at our nursery from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Check their Eventbrite for updates!

  • Ascot Hills Park Green Team

    Roll up your sleeves, put on your gardening gloves, and join the Green Team to do a variety of restoration tasks throughout the park.

    Every Second Saturday of the Month 8am to 10:30 a.m.

  • LMU Willette Lab Research

    Biodiversity and survivorship research is being conducted by students and faculty at Loyola Marymount University, led by Demian A. Willette, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biology at LMU. Check out the research that his students are conducting here.

  • Ascot Hills Park - 5K Challenge

    Join us for the 10th Annual Ascot Hills Park 5K Run/Walk Challenge on Saturday, September 26, 2026!

    This amazing event benefits Woodrow Wilson High School students who are in the Los Angeles Fire Academy program by providing scholarships and a portion of the proceeds. Proceeds also help beautify and maintain Ascot Hills Park for community use.
