🌿Join members of the Ascot Hills Park Advisory Board for a hike along the East Hillside Trail. Along the trail you will observe maturing Southern California Black Walnut trees planted by North East Trees as a part of the Watershed Greening grant project in 2015 and 2016. We will look for and harvest mature black walnuts from the young trees and discuss the potential of direct seeding methods to restore walnut woodlands without costly irrigation.
